Volkswagen ID.Buzz is mass-produced at the Hannover plant in Germany, with a target of 15,000 units this year

Electric Wheelco has reported the configuration tool for ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo was launched on May
20, and pre-sale began in the UK market yesterday, with the first vehicles
to be delivered this fall.

Volkswagen said the most important
countries for ID. Buzz will be Germany, the UK, Norway, France, Sweden, the
Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Belgium and Spain. According to Volkswagen\’s
sales forecast, about 90% of ID. Buzz\’s registrations in Europe will be
distributed between these countries.

Volkswagen notes that the ID.
Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo come standard with a 77 kWh (82 kWh rated capacity)
lithium-ion battery pack with a rated power of 150 kW (201 hp) and 310 Nm of
torque rear electric motor.

The WLTP comprehensive cruising
range of the Volkswagen ID. Buzz Pro can reach 423 kilometres, the WLTP
extensive cruising range of the ID. Buzz Cargo is 425 kilometres, and the
WLTP power consumption is 20.6 kWh/100 km and 20.4 kWh/100 km, respectively. Using a DC fast charging station with a maximum charging
power of 170 kW, the battery can be set from 5% to 80% capacity in about 30
minutes.

Both models also feature a
5.3-inch digital cockpit, 10-inch Ready 2 Discover connected infotainment
system, multifunction steering wheel, LED headlights, automatic air
conditioning, keyless start, cruise control and driver assist/warning systems.
