Tesla was exposed to significant changes in production in China, and Musk was \”slapped in the face\”

On June 9, it was reported that
Tesla’s Shanghai factory production in the second quarter is expected to fall
by more than a third from the previous quarter, but Musk said in a conference
call with analysts in April that the Shanghai factory’s second-quarter

quarter.

The U.S. automaker aims to
produce more than 71,000 vehicles at its Shanghai plant in June, according
to an internal production memo seen by Reuters. Combined with the 44,301
it produced in April and May, it will reach about 115,300 in the second
quarter, according to the China Passenger Car Association.

In the first three months of this
year, Tesla Shanghai produced 178,887 vehicles. In comparison, the second
quarter was 600,000 fewer than the first, which was already well ahead of
