Electric two-wheeler maker Okinawa Autotech on Wednesday said it will invest Rs 500 crore to set up a new manufacturing plant at Karoli in Rajasthan.
India’s Leading Electric two-wheeler maker “Okinawa Autotech” on Wednesday said it will invest Rs 500 crore to set up a new manufacturing plant in Rajasthan’s Karoli.
Spread over 30 acres, the plant will have an annual production capacity of 1 million units and will be fully operational by October 2023, Okinawa Autotech said in a statement.
The plant will provide employment to more than 5,000 people. This will be the company’s third plant apart from the two manufacturing facilities in Alwar, Rajasthan.
Okinawa Autotech Founder and MD Jitendra Sharma said., “As the market leader in the electric two-wheeler segment, we are committed to addressing the most pressing issues facing the sector. The R&D facilities planned at the mega factory will demand the sector in the future. Will be sure to fulfill it.”
