22,411 new energy vehicles were sold in May, a year-on-year increase of 97.2%

Electric Wheelco reported on June
9 that GAC Group produced 192,400 vehicles in May, up 16.1% year-on-year
and 49.6% month-on-month ; sold 183,100 cars, up 3.5% year-on-year
and 47.3% month-on-month .

In terms of new energy vehicles,
in May, GAC Group produced 23,757 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase
of 111.4%, and sold 22,411 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of
97.2%. Meanwhile, from January to May, GAC Group produced a total of
86,145 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 38.1%, and sold a
total of 86,595 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 34.9%.

Electric Wheelco learned that GAC
Aian produced 22,139 vehicles in May, up 182.0% year-on-year and 124.4%
month-on-month; sold 21,056 vehicles, up 150.2% year-on-year and 106.2%
month-on-month. Monthly sales of AION S and AION Y were 10,503 and 8,289.

GAC Trumpchi achieved production
and sales of 33,582 units and 29,350 units in May, up 96.2% and 45.9% MoM,
and up 71.5% and 12.8% YoY.

In May, GAC Toyota completed the
production and sales of 86,922 vehicles and 83,800 vehicles, a year-on-year
increase of 25.5% and 19.7%; from January to May, the cumulative
production of vehicles was 400,588 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of
19.8%. At present, GAC Toyota\’s bz4x model based on the pure electric
platform has started pre-sale. At the same time, its annual production
capacity expansion project of 200,000 \”new energy vehicles\” (Phase
II) will be officially put into production at the end of June.

In May, GAC Honda produced 49,039
vehicles, a month-on-month increase of 58.6%, and sold 47,124 vehicles, a
month-on-month increase of 97.3%. Currently, GAC Honda\’s first purely
electric model, the e: NP1 Extreme 1, is open for pre-sale.
