Electric Wheelco reported on June
4 that Weilai will hold an online press conference on the evening of June 15 to
release a new SUV, the ES7.

At the same time, Weilai is
expected to release the 2022 ES6 / EC6 / ES8 three models online and the old smart cockpit hardware upgrade plan, such as Qualcomm Snapdragon
8155 chip smart gateway, high-definition camera, 5G module, etc.

 

Electric Wheelco has reported
that NIO ES7 has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information
Technology. It is built on the NT2.0 technology platform and is positioned as a
medium-to-large 5-seat SUV. The vehicle intelligence level is consistent with
the ET5 and ET7 vehicles and will be delivered this year.

The new car\’s length, width, and height are 4912/1987/1720mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2960mm.

In addition, we can see from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology data that the Weilai ES7
will provide five battery life versions of 440/485/575/620/450, equipped with
100/70/75 kWh batteries.

Regarding styling, the NIO ES7
adopts the latest family-style X-Bar design language, with the angular ridges
on the hood and the SHARK NOSE front face shape, which looks very unique.

NIO ES7
adopts a front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive layout in terms of performance. The motor\’s maximum power is 180kW in the front / 300kW in the rear, the total system power
is 480kW, and the full torque is 850N m. In general, it is basically the same
as the NIO ET7. Previously, there were media tests. Obtained its zero-hundred
acceleration of 3.52 seconds.

In addition, the NIO ES7 is
expected to be equipped with a 75kWh ternary iron-lithium battery and a 100kWh
ternary lithium battery. Based on the NIO ET7 fitted with these two battery
packs, the battery life is 530 kilometers and 675 kilometers under CLTC
conditions, respectively. The battery life of the two battery packs is about
480 and 600 kilometers, respectively.

Weilai ES7 continues the
design concept and family design of Design for AD. It adopts a combination of
lidar and a watchtower camera on the roof. It will be
equipped with NT2.0 automatic driving hardware and 7.1.4 immersive sound as
standard. A system, air suspension, electric suction door, seat massage, and
other high-cost functional configurations.
